A Settlement has been reached in the case Joshua Smith v. Interinsurance Exchange of the Automobile Club, entitling some insureds who had an underinsured motorist claim reduced or 'offset' by the amount paid by the at-fault driver in an accident between January 1, 2010 through May 4, 2022, and others who purchased UM/UIM coverage during that period to receive a partial refund of their premium.
